A Fun And Exciting Team Building Exercise
Treasure of the Feathered Serpentis a great multi-purpose training activity that both quickly develops team member and team leader skills and also sharpens decision making and problem solving ability. It is suitable for all employees from rank and file worker to senior manager in practically any training and skill development application. Especially effective for boosting skills and energizing resources among members of work unit teams, project teams, quality and continuous improvement teams and self-directed work teams.
The scenario for the exercise is an expedition to locate a treasured figurine that was prized by the ancient Aztec and Maya of pre-Columbian Mexico and Central America. Exercise participants form teams and must solve five challenging situations as they try to locate the long lost Treasure of the Feathered Serpent!In the process of their team activities they learn the value of open team communication, active listening, synergistic decision making, team leadership and many other skills required of today's modern work force. Requires about 2 hours including debriefing.
