That exactly describes Gnomes Throgs & Pixies! So, prepare your class to have fun as they improve important interpersonal skills!

The exercise scenario takes place in the mythical Deep Forest where a serious conflict is brewing between the hard working, honest Gnomes and the power-centered, manipulative Throgs. The self-serving interests of the Pixies prevent them from being much help to either party but at least they were able to arrange intervention from The Outside in the hope that humans can more successfully mediate a resolution to the problem. The participants of your class take the role of a problem solving task team that has been convened to deal with a situation that if not resolved, could have grave impact on the peace of the Deep Forest. Unknown to the class, though, is a trick that the Pixies have in mind to play on the task team before a final solution to the problem is found!

This training activity is perfect for employees at all organizational levels. It is especially effective for developing and enhancing working relationships between supervisory and non-supervisory employees and among employees in different work groups. Requires about one and one half hours.
